This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game PuzzKit (“the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use it. PuzzKit is developed by an independent developer. We aim to collect as little data as possible.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or location. Your game progress and settings are stored on your own device.
PuzzKit shows a global best score for each game. To make this work, the app signs you in anonymously using Firebase Authentication: your device is assigned a random identifier that is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal information. When you set a new personal best, your score and the time it was achieved are saved under that anonymous identifier in Cloud Firestore, a Google-operated database, so it can be compared with other players' scores. No other gameplay data is stored there. If you would like your leaderboard entries deleted, contact us at the address below.
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the games are used — for example which game is opened and how long a play session lasts. This helps us decide which puzzles to improve or add. Analytics collection is kept off unless permitted by the consent choices described below, and the data we see is aggregated and not linked to your identity by us.
PuzzKit displays ads provided by Google AdMob, a Google service. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information automatically, including:
This data is collected by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's own policies. You can learn how Google uses this information here: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can reset or limit your Advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
In regions where consent is required (such as the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), the app shows a consent form before any ads or analytics run, and you can change your choice at any time via the “Manage consent” option in the app.
The app uses Google Play Services, which may collect information as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
PuzzKit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
Game progress saved on your device is removed when you uninstall the app. Anonymous leaderboard scores are kept so the global best remains meaningful, but you can ask us to delete yours at any time by contacting the address below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
